After further though and consideration, I decided not to go with the previous final exhibition due to the size of the plinths and the possibility of dwarfing the pieces along with the amount of time and effort required to build them. After a range of further ideas, I came up with the following design-
I am pleased with this design as it is minimal, maximising the impact of the pieces. The use of an arc give the feeling the the pieces are centred around the sun and also provides structural stability to the plinth with four legs. Rather than spacing the legs evenly, I have spaced them so one is under the bronze and there is a bit of a overhang either end. I feel this gives a nice bit of symmetry to the plinth.
